Plagiarism

The Journal of Health and Developmental Sciences considers plagiarism—in any form—a serious violation of scientific ethics. All submitted manuscripts are checked for originality using Turnitin software before publication.

Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of using ideas, data, results, intellectual property, or copying content, wording, or images from another person's or another person's own intellectual property protected work without truthfully and fully citing or acknowledging the source; using or publishing work performed by others under one's own name, except for content that is part of standard research methods or fundamental data that must be repeated.

Acceptance Threshold
The journal applies the following similarity threshold:

● Total Articles: Not exceeding 30%

The percentage of similarity exceeding the allowed threshold will be considered on a case-by-case basis according to content and context before a conclusion is reached.
